By using SparkFi or signing up for our waitlist you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
SparkFi is a personal finance application for Mac, iPhone and iPad. In this release, financial data is entered manually — SparkFi does not connect to bank or brokerage accounts automatically. A future release may add automatic bank and investment sync through third-party providers, subject to their own terms. SparkFi is a tool to help you understand your finances — it does not provide financial advice.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must be 18 or older to use SparkFi. You may not use SparkFi for any unlawful purpose.
SparkFi offers two plans, Basic and Premium, each billed monthly or yearly. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple's App Store and can be shared with your Apple Family Sharing group. New subscribers get a one-month free trial; if you don't cancel before it ends, billing begins automatically at the plan's regular price. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods.
Premium's AI Spending Insights and AI Financial Coach are generated by a third-party AI service (Anthropic's Claude). AI-generated content can be incomplete or wrong; it is general information, not financial advice.
SparkFi is provided "as is". We don't guarantee the accuracy of synced financial data — always verify important figures directly with your financial institution. SparkFi is not a bank, broker, or financial advisor.
Projections in SparkFi — such as projected retirement savings, the time to reach your FI Number, retirement income and Social Security estimates — are hypothetical illustrations based on assumptions you choose or that SparkFi applies, including an assumed annual return (8% or 4% for retirement accounts, per your settings, and 8% for other accounts) and a 4% withdrawal rate. They are not predictions or guarantees of future results. Actual investment returns vary, can be negative, and past performance does not guarantee future results. By default projections are adjusted for an assumed 3% yearly inflation and shown in today's dollars; you can turn this off, in which case amounts are in future dollars. Projections don't account for taxes or fees unless stated. Don't rely on them alone for financial decisions; consider talking to a licensed financial professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SparkFi's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
We may update these terms. We'll post changes here. Continued use of SparkFi after changes constitutes acceptance.
